To create a concept of a territorial brand, it is not enough to draw a successful logo. A viable concept must be truthful, adaptive and with the potential for development and application in the environment.




The fundamental idea was the fact that Novorossiysk already has its own "voice", atmosphere and legendary cultural -historical background.
It is a hero city, a resort city with famous sights, an industrial center and a transport hub of national importance. Novorossiysk is the same for everyone, but it is different for each individual.

The key design-technique — careful stylization of traditional symbols of the city with the help of line art — allowed to preserve the recognition of the image, but "rebuild" it into a more modern and bright. The main visual solutions were original graphic symbols of different subjects, traditional and actual.




In the process of work was created a unique corporate font "Novorossiysk", which is used in the name of the logo. The shape of the letters repeats the silhouettes of attractions. This font is jobbing and is used, for example, in urban navigation — they write the names of areas with it.




Carriers of the style are designed to help the Novorossiysk administration in solving two large-scale interrelated tasks — to develop the city strategically according to the official documents "Strategy 2030" and "smart" city of Novorossiysk», and also to make it more attractive primarily for resident
